Hey, I'm MrUnknownDE 👋
and I built VRC-Monitor.
Why this exists
Back in the day, every game server and TeamSpeak server had a tool that showed you live how many people are online, which channels are active, and whether it's even worth joining. I always missed that in VRChat.
VRC-Monitor does exactly that — but for VRChat group instances. At a glance you can see how many people are active in a group right now, which instances they're in, which regions they're coming from, and how activity has changed over time.
What can VRC-Monitor do?
Player counts, instance counts, queue sizes and region distribution — updated every collection cycle.
24h and 7-day charts per group and globally. Heatmaps show peak hours across the week.
Based on recent data, VRC-Monitor predicts when an instance will reach capacity — useful for planning events.
Which worlds are running right now? How long have instances been open? When were they first seen?
Groups can be marked private — only logged-in users with access can view their stats.
Want your group tracked?
Fill out the registration form on the home page and I'll take a look. I review requests manually and will get back to you.
Ideas or feedback?
Feel free to reach out — I'm always happy to hear suggestions, bug reports, or just a quick note about what's working or what's missing.
